2008 May Hunger Initiative

Best Buy Staff of Store 801 Tenleytown

We would like to thank Best Buy Staff of Store 801 Tenleytown who participated in Mother Dear's Community Center's May Day Hunger Initiative on May 14th and 21st.

The Best Buy staff helped to prepare lunch for the homeless, packaged food bags for needy families and assisted with distributing clothes. We served a total of 79 meals for lunch, 42 people for clothing and 103 family members benefited from the food bags. Clothing and food bags count represents total family members served. Overall we served a total of 793 people during our May Day activities.
